"Now I got a new fire, burnin' in my eyes Lightin' up the darkness, movin' like a meteorite  All fired up (now I believe there comes a time) All fired up (where everything just falls in line) - All Fired Up, Pat Benatar *** It probably sounds a little demotivating to finish a chapter stating that what you desire and what you  fear  are on the other side of what you are trying to achieve. That's the interesting part about evolution.    We are traveling outside our comfort zone to a place that our ego is not a huge fan of, and we are hard wired to default  as much of our daily existence as possible  to automatic programming.  Change and evolution mean a disruption to this auto-button functionality, which leads to all kinds of discomfort to our everyday thoughts and routines. Before you know it, all of the self-doubt, internal critic and anxiety fairies come out to have a field day. Let me give you an example. I say I want to stand on a stage ...

"She acts like Summer and walks like rain Reminds me that there's a time to change, hey, hey Since the return of her stay on the moon She listens like Spring and she talks like June..." - Drops of Jupiter, Train *** I was asked yesterday "If you were a car with manual transmission, what gear would you say you are operating in now?"   "Darkness.   The truest darkness is not the absence of light.  It's the conviction that the light will never return.   But the light always returns.   To show us things familiar.   Home, family, and things entirely new, or long overlooked.   It shows us new possibilities and challenges us to pursue them."   - Lois Lane, Justice League *** Not bad, eh?   Quoting DC comics. How about the fact that I know Lois Lane is DC comics, and not Marvel? Oh my God.... what has happened to me? For someone without a television, I have watched 38 movies since Easter. Okay, that's not the total truth. I'm actually  not even sure  how many movies I have watched, but I'm certain iTunes knows. I watched all the Star Wars movies,  (that hardcore fans will be mortified I watched in chronological order and not release order) , plus the bonus extra ones, all the DC movies, a few randoms like the Princess Bride...
